 The multi-lingual talent of ROBBI KUMALO or ROBBI K as she's often called, is known across the nation for her dynamic story telling and singing as a children’s music and theater personality.
Robbi K performs for more than 50,000 children annually at festivals, theatres, and schools. Robbi is a Teaching Artist @ the Tilles Center, and has studied @ the Lincoln Center Institute for Aesthetic Eductation.
Robbi has worked with legendary artists including Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Vieux Diop, Eileen Ivers, Daniel Rodriguez, Deepak Chopra, Michael Amante, Ashford & Simpson, Patti Austin, John Hiatt, Arif Mardin, Bakithi Kumalo, Jewel, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Mary J. Blige, and Harry Belafonte among others.
You can catch jazz act when she performs exhilarting world and jazz music concerts for adult audiences with her electic jazz band, KUMALO. Listen for Robbi's distiinctive voice on TV and radio commericals as a professional voice-over artist.
